Nokia 8 Review

The Nokia 8 was the much-awaited flagship model of Nokia. After the Nokia6 and Nokia 3, the flagship model was always a big question. Will the flagship model meet its rival specs? Will there be a bigger and better screen size?
The HMD Global has all its answers.

The Nokia 8 is a perfect flagship killer model with excellent specs and bigger screen size. The Nokia 8 with its rivals Samsung S8 and LG G6, is a good competitor on market.

Build Quality and Design
When someone asks you about the best part of Nokia Phones, the answer will always be about its build quality. The Nokia 8 is wonderfully slim, measuring a dainty 7.3mm thick, and as it’s crafted from just a single block of aluminum, it both looks and feels like an absolute stunner. It weighs around 160g.The chamfered edges look nice and elegant.
The fingerprint scanner is placed on the front side and volume rockers and power button are placed on the right side.

Display and UI
The Nokia 8 comes with a 5.3 inch quad-HD LCD on 2,560×1,400 screen resolution at a pixel density of 554ppi.This makes the display stunning. The Nokia 8 gives excellent color saturation in day light. The IPS screen comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Nokia 8 comes out of the box with Android Nougat 7 with a Nokia UI on top of it and similar to the stock Android version.

One of the best part lies here! Tada! The Zeiss branded rear dual-camera setup with one being a monochrome f/2.0 13-megapixel sensor, and the other incorporating a 13-megapixel bog-standard RGB sensor. They work simultaneously and gives each and everything in detail.

Bothie option on Nokia 8

Live streaming from the app to social networks with ozo audio codec is a special feature you will see on Nokia 8.The Ozo audio codec gives you a surround audio on live streaming.

The front camera is also 13 megapixel and the Nokia introduces the “Bothie”, which enables the user to take pictures with both the front and rear cameras simultaneously.

Battery Life:
The Nokia 8 comes with a 3050mAh non-removable battery. The battery life is excellent when compared to other flagship models like S8, Sony XZ Premium and iPhone 7.The “advanced heat management solution” will make its work done easily and quietly. The liquid-cooled copper pipe runs across the length of the Nokia 8, with graphite shielding dispersing heat from the Snapdragon chipset equally throughout the metal body. Thus reducing the heat and energy loss. This helps to extend the battery life.

“The Machine” you are looking for.The Nokia 8 comes with the Snapdragon 835 – the Qualcomm’s latest octa-core processor on board cloaked with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64GB (expandable up to 256GB with microSD card)
We don’t feel any lag on performance and absolutely stunning on multitasking. The benchmark scores on gaming is a bit disappointing, but it doesn’t matter for such a flagship killer.
The device does not heat up also on heavy gaming.
